Oregon Ducks Add Experienced Running Back via Transfer Portal
The Oregon Ducks have bolstered their 2026 backfield with the addition of Simeon Price, a powerful running back transfer from Colorado. With one year of eligibility remaining, Price brings depth and experience to the position, weighing in at 6-0 and 215 pounds.
In his previous season with the Buffaloes, Price showcased his talent, amassing 143 yards and two touchdowns from 21 carries. However, his season was cut short due to an ankle injury, which kept him out for the remainder of the games.
Price's athletic prowess was evident during his high school days in Pensacola, Florida, where he was ranked as a three-star recruit. He was the No. 44 athlete in the country and the No. 76 overall player in Florida, according to 247Sports' rankings.
Oregon's running back room now boasts a talented group, including redshirt senior Price, Jordon Davison, Dierre Hill Jr., Da'Jaun Riggs, Tradarian Ball, and Brandon Smith. This addition further strengthens the team's depth and experience at the position, providing Dan Lanning and the Ducks with a formidable option for the upcoming season.
Stay tuned for more updates on Oregon's roster as the Ducks continue to build a strong foundation for the 2026 season.
